Editorial reach of over 161 million
We commissioned music artists and trainer artists from around the world to interpret their songs onto a limited run of sneakers. A unique way of using art and sneakers as a way of illustrating the customisation and personalisation that Deezer offers subscribers.
In the UK, Deezer collaborated with British singer Zak Abel and Daniel Cordas, in Brazil Cynthia Luz and Pomb teamed up, and in Colombia the talented Jean Oaul Egred and Feid. Our engaging, visual story championed new, up-and-coming artists in the Deezer NEXT programme, and increased brand awareness both locally and globally.
We created video content of the making of these highly limited and sought after sneakers in each country and took these to media and social media resulting in quality impact coverage across all target countries. It delivered an editorial reach of 161 million. We then used the coveted sneakers to deliver further reach giving a lucky few the opportunity to own theirs via the music artists’ Insta channels.
